How early can I start the Early Postpartum program?Updated 10 months ago
This program is designed to be started as early as day 1 postpartum for vaginal birth.
For cesarean births you can begin around 3-4 weeks or when your incision site is noting good healing without pain.
The purpose of this program is to heal from the inside-out.
We need to re-learn and re-build the basics of engaging our core and pelvic floor muscles after pregnancy before progressing into more advanced exercise programs at your 6 week ‘cleared for exercise’ appointment.
You should expect rehabilitation style movements starting with light TVA (deepest level of core muscles) activation, progressing gradually each week.
