You can generally begin Momday guided or self-guided cesarean program 3-4 weeks postpartum:
- ACOG Recommendation: Avoid abdominal exercises until your cesarean site heals (6+ weeks).
- Program Design: Ella’s program begins with gentle breath work, mobility, and pelvic floor exercises. By week 3-4 of the program, if pain is managed and the incision is healing, you may progress to light TVA (transverse abdominis) exercises—provided there’s no pulling sensation around your scar or increased pain during or after activity.
- Your Journey: Everyone’s postpartum recovery is unique. Progress at your own pace, listening to your body’s signals.
